Noted Features:
- The ships are built to 1/72nd scale which allows us to place an emphasis on authenticity & fittings.
- 3/16” & 1/4" cannons, other calibers have been eliminated due to the cost of construction and supply versus the small differential in performance between 3/16" and 7/32".
- No limit on the firing rate of cannons.
- Mines add a lot of interest in battles and consist of floating balls coupled together with string to ensnare an opponents propellers.
Noted Limitations:
- Ships limited to between 50 & 450 rounds based on tonnage.
- Torpedoes are limited to 1/4" in diameter, 6' in length and are allowed on patrol boats only.
- Destroyers are the most common vessels and are approximately 5 to 6' in length. Cruisers, basically the largest vessels in the fleet, are 10 to 12 feet in length, although we do allow the German Pocket Battleships.
