That is as far as I got, but I will look more and dig deeper.
The boat was designed with 150 mm guns from the start.

German merchant sub Deutschland converted into the U-155, part of the U-Kreuzer Flotilla, being fitted with 6 bow torpedo tubes with 18 torpedoes, and 2 150mm deck guns taken from the pre-dreadnought battleship SMS Zähringen. She made three successful war cruises, sinking 42 ships and damaging one.

U139 class was designed later, and specificaly as a warship unlike the U-155 which as part of the 7 ship class U151 class was originaly designed to transport cargo to the United States.

Whomever wishes to ask the next trivia question may do so.

Let's get this thread going again!

Since the end of World War II, only two submarines have sunk an enemy ship in anger. Name those submarines.

That's correct. The Pakistani submarine Hangor sank the Indian frigate Khukri during the 1971 war over Bangladesh. Conqueror sank the Gen. Belgrano during the Falklands War in 1982.

Well this should be a fun question. One of my favorite Bond movies. Alas, I can only remember the skiing scene from the start of the movie (to the beat of a jazzy disco tune), and any answer I'd give would be a random guess.

Ironguns,
Your answer is actually not correct. It is the Valiant class that is seen at dock in the opening scenes.
