Just wondering if anyone from NBG is planning on coming to NABGO (this is the 5th annual North American Big Gun Open) this year?  Haven't seen your application yet (the applications are on the NABGO site www.nabgo.org under "entry forms" as is the preliminary schedule of events and menu.

The venue is Star Brand Ranch Executive Retreat, starbrandranch.com/  and the entry fee covers room and food as indicated.

We do have members form Chesapeake Batttle Group and WWCC coming, as well as at least one vendor.

We would love to sink errr, SEE you here.

Cheers,

Hmmm, I had assumed that it followed the relatively common convention that the clubs designated Battle Group were Big Gun (like the MBG, NTXBG, CTXBG, SCBG, CBG, ESBG, AUSBG, and MABG), while Task Force, Attack Squadron, etc. were Small/Fast Gun.

Sorry for the confusion.

However.... NABGO is, indeed, an Open event, and Small/Fast Gun ships are welcome/invited to battle under the speed and ROF rules in place.  We should have a Small/Fast Gun HMS Invincible making her NABGO debut this year, in fact. She did sea trials at the NTXBG Father's Day event in Weatherford.

Cheers,
