Being from the east coast. Never being that far NW of the country. What about something related to Lewis and Clark. I just wanted to give you a "foreign" view. L&C and I think of rough NW. Just my image. I really hope you all come up with a great catchy name. The WAG is cute. But we have MAG. So it sounds a little like a spin off or a jumping on the band wagon (no offense intended). Good luck

Columbia Basin Attack Squadron was used for a short bit before it fell apart.

Cee-BAS... not bad. It gets the location, the combat club, and has a funny nautical connection to boot.

Where are my sharks with laser beams attached to thier heads number 2?

Uhh, weve only got Seabass sir...

Are they vicious Number 2?

Mutant, angry Seabass Sir.

Now I'm imagining a very cool club emblem with a sea bass with a laser beam on it's head.
Or on a more serious note, a front view of a battleship with stylized sea bass on either side.

Im leaning toward the SeaBass with friggin' laser beams attached to thier friggin' heads.
But really, a head on view of a WW1 era US BB, would look nice.

You have an Inland Empire up there? Because southern California east of LA is also called the Inland Empire. Might be confusing to outsiders to use this expression in the name, especially since the California usage seems to be better known (based on Google ranking at least):

Yeah.... I like Northwest Battle Group the best so far. But until my current release goes out the door without any bugs... I'm just not interested in anything else!

Not my dog in the hunt, but, as an outsider the NBG name tends to indicate a Big Gun club (like NTXBG, AUSBG, WSBG, CBG, MABG, CTXBG, etc.) whereas the Attack Squadorn, Task Force, etc. or Attack Group designations tend to be used more byt the small/fast gun clubs.  MAkes it a lot easier to spor Big Gun clubs if they are ***BG.

Just an outsider's .o2, of course, ymmv.

Uh, Wreno, just to confuse things....My local club which is part of the AUSBG, is called the Newcastle Battle Squadron. (NBS).
Mainly because NBG is what gets written on defective components over here. (No Bl**dy Good).
We used to write U/S (UnServicable) but we don't now....can't think of why?
Still a proud member of the AUSBG!

Darren,

Yep, the exception that proves the rule........

However, I notice you did not use one of the more common Small/Fast Gun disignations like

Task Force, Attack Squadron, etc. but kept the B in making a Battle Squadron.

Columbia River Attack Squadron might be pretty CRAS

Cheers,

Wreno
