I apologize for not having pictures of steel flying, I was for the most part distracted by the need to captain my own ship, since I didn't spend my time collecting my ship from the bottom.  As a result, most pictures are just in between sorties.

 Alex's new Bismarck

Viribus Unitis

Warspite at rest

The last run of the Mutsu?

Mutsu displaying the patches from where Phill accidentally put his thumbs...

Suffren resting and clearing out a little extra water from the bilges

Suffren displaying her distinct need to be reskinned

The Mutsu capsizes!

Mutsu Sabotage

VU is displaying the side Suffren and Bismarck chewed on.

VU on the rocks....

Bismarck vents CO2 from a blown line

Warspite makes a pass on the Bismarck

Also, Alex has posted some video his camera crew took at the battle.  You can find it at youtube here, or if the embed works, below..

Sweet!
Except for the Mutsu. Luckily it is a wooden ship. It will be easier to fix.

My older son started battling at 6 1/2.  The younger is closing in on his 7th birthday.  I have tried before to get him to run a batttleship.  He did have a great time when I built a river type tugboat which I finally thought was tough enough to withstand him.  That morning, I found that the speed controller (embeded in an otterbox) was no longer working.  I grabber the destroyer and found the pump is missing ( I only have 1 that is that small).  I had been working on the Mutsu and the VU to get them ready and hadn't tested anything else.

Since he is finally showing a desire to join in the battle, I will make sure we have something on the water for him at the next battle. It's not like there are no possibilities...  I have six ships in the garage and four out on loan.

Its allways more fun when the kids get involved, my youngest daughter likes to battle, but with her work and business seldom can make it.
Its better to give than to receive. Southeast Attack Squadron

If memory serves me well, we usually have a 'people start showing up at 10:30 to setup and test and first battle at 11:30' arrangement.

Do we have the location for the battle on the 18th set yet?

I must assume that it is going to be at Coal Creek. Its too early in the season to head out to Cle Elum.

Theres also Swan Creek down in Tacoma, though if Hovey doesn't come north, I'd bet on it being Coal Creek
