Reminds me of spring regionals. It is a good test of pumps and deck seals. You stayed afloat so I would say you are ok with that. Great photos. Does the girlfriend run a ship? Nats has a way of making everybody a captain....

The deck seals were fine but the openins in the aft barbettes could be sealed up.They are open because I've got coil cannons installed there. The forward cannons are all straights so they are easy to seal up.

GF did run bb26's PE and placed a nice hole in Yamato when she fired on it. I got another one here that I will build and arm for her.She does enjoy operating them but I think she enjoys the camera more.

I will be posting that video soon and surprisingly the camera was very stable. Except for that one time when the Bismarck was stopped between the swells and the camera little went side to side.

Thanks Mikey. Yeah they look like their running in seas between 30 - 50 ft at times. The winds that hit them were gale force winds if not stronger if you had to scale it down. I love running the large ships in these conditions.

HI Nikki. The camera is about 13 inches off the deck. What kind of ship do you have?

If your going mount the camera high on a boat I would recommend using a larger ship with a broad beam. Stability is essential for this type of setup.

On a cruiser it have to very large for a cruiser or at least wide for a cruiser. The camera is not heavy but your most likely going to get a lot of roll because of the low draft and the high hull height.
