A clip from a restored film of 1915 of the US Navy.  Battleships start at about 2:40 with a Connecticut Class then a Michigan and a Delaware.  Seems to spend a bit of time on submarines which were new and cutting edge at the time.

The quality of the restoration is fantastic.

Very interesting!

I love the details.

I wonder if they could add color and sound to it?

No. They are archivists not Ted Turner. So there won't be a 3D special edition either.

However once the History Channel gets hold of it I am sure it will become U-Boats and every naval battle from Manila Bay to Surigao Straits.

Also featured are a New York class ship and a Wyoming class. I have no clue on the submarines but there seem to be at least two types featured.
