Anyone know where I can find "cheap" plans for the Tenn class?  looks like a good match to the Scharhorst.

I found this set from George http://my.att.net/p/s/community.dll?ep=16&groupid=231663&ck= which were $15.00 plus 7.50 for shipping. I don't know the quality of the plans though.

Strike Models has plans for both the Tennessee and the Scharnhorst (the latter will be on the site later this weekend).

I think he means the armoured cruiser (USS Tennessee (ACR-10) & SMS Scharnhorst) not the battleship versions of the Tennessee and Scharnhorst.

Thanks Chase. I jumped the gun there, and didn't notice the armored cruiser notation. You're correct, both of ours are the battleship versions.

yes, I am looking for plans for the USS Tennessee (ACR-10), Cruiser number 10. She is only a little longer than the SMS Scharnhorst (AC) and gains some weight with the IRC rules but has the same speed and units.

The listing that I found the Tenn was listed under the armored cruisers. Also Taubmansonline.com they have a listing for the armored cruiser tenn.

Hope this helps.

If they are the plans I think they are the are for both the Pennsylvania and Tennessee classes.

I think Tennessee a good choice if only for her interesting demise.

Speaking of StrikeModels, I just got their Duke of Edinburgh hull which I am going to convert into HMS Warrior.  Another good match for SMS Scharnhorst.  Great quality hull too.

Search page for ACR-10. Not really cheap -- but copies of the original builders plans.
