Hi there... my many thanks to Tugboat and Jay for helping me get back again....
this time the bug has bit me but good.....
Thought I would show you all the new and improved workroom.
Here is the new and improved Workspace.
All manner of Miscellaneous equipment here in various forms of organization.
Organizationa and materials are great... but so is music! Rockin out to my late 80's blaster!
Couple of Pics of the Shinano Refit and Restoration .
Brand new paint job and all the hull damage has been repaired. It was quite extensive with
some panels being fully replaced.
Since the breakin at Jay's and subsequent drop five feet to his concrete floor (Thanks
vandals!) the flight deck no longer sits properly. I will have to find a way to fix this.
Admiral Sheer. The beginnings of the beast.
This is Admiral Sheer with his final paint scheme before touchups.
FLOAT TEST WAS SUCCESSFUL. FOUND A SMALL LEAK IN THE FRONT.
BOAT WAS UNDERWEIGHT AND ADDED A SECOND BATTERY TO THE MIX.
SUPERSTRUCTURE AS IT WAS.
SUPERSTRUCTURE WITH GERMAN TERMITE ARMOR ORIGINALLY FOR BISMARCK.
HAVE SEALED SMALL HOLES WITH SIGMENT AND SILKSPAN. HULL IS WATERTIGHT.
SUPERSTRUCTURE AND DECK AFTER REFIT. LOOKING GOOD.
STARTING TO LOOK THE PART. LOVE THE COLOR SCHEME I CHOSE HERE.
MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT BUILDING EXTRANOUS PARTS. I THINK THEY TURNED OUT WELL!
ALSO ADDED HATCH TABS TO KEEP THINGS IN PLACE. IT WAS THE FIRST THING THAT
REALLY SHOWED THE SHIP WAS TAKING SHAPE.
CLEAN LINES. NICE LOOKING MODEL. THE ARMAMENT WILL BE NEXT.
I WILL BE ADDING MORE DETAILS INCLUDING THE SECONDARYS. LIGHT AND EASY
YOGURT IS A GOOD TREAT WHEN MAKING AXIS POCKET BATTLESHIPS.
LOOKING GOOD ! KILLER SHIP FOR SURE.
WELL. 50 IN THE FRONT 75 IN THE BACK AND A FULL UNIT PUMP.
THE GRAF SPEE WILL HAVE THREE 50'S IN THE BACK AND A HALF UNIT PUMP
GIVING ME VARIETY WHEN I PLAY!
