But it is not the first time you have asked about waterproofing on RC Naval Combat. It doesn't matter which place you ask the same question at, the answer is going to be the same.

The basic waterproofing process is going to be the same for ESCs, receivers, electronic switches, and even servos.

don't drop it in the pond. You can't truly waterproof the pots for the sticks so there still a high chance of water entering them and causing them to fail. Skotchkoting the board is still useful for accidental wetness though (rain, pump streams, etc)

Last year I dropped my Futaba 7C in the pond and watched in horror as it floated away with the wind. I pulled it out quickly and hit the innards with a liberal amount of WD-40 for the save. There is some discoloration on the LCD but that is the only permanant reminder

I dropped my 6ex in the pond, picked it up, shook the water out and kept sailing.
The chemspray nc-123 waterproofing spray we use here is amazingly effective.

Put your antenna all the way up, every time.
A 2" foam ball on the end of it will stop you poking yourself or others in the eye.
