Sorry, I am late on the cut em question. My experience is my Marlborough at full speed and Ron's NC at full speed head on. He bent the barrel and upright. Had to change both before the my Bow gun was back in shape. The collision did stop both boats. Really impressive.

The wires are in place and tubing is connected, still more work to do after the brew but this will do for now.

The bulkheads are joined and seam is sealed with silk span and dope, now it's watertight. Still need to paint the red and apply the waterline tape.

Spent the majority of time last night on the new WTC. Cast new end caps, drilled the holes for the brass rods and created a recess in the cap for the epoxy. The wires are joined to the brass with silver solder (lower temp melt) and wrapped three times in shrink wrap. This helps take the strain off the solder joint when moving the WTC around in either the ship or on the bench. The blue object at the bottom is a Castle Creations BEC, really nice product.

Disaster last night, when applying the tape to the side I turned away and the next sound I heard was the ship hitting the floor!

Only damage was a separation of fiberglass sheet from the aluminum rib, this was epoxied back into place and I will reinforce mechanically with set screws. Better to know now than at the battle...

This is a Battler's hull, right? Or is it an old Swampworks hull?

I'm going through the build threads and tagging ships with the ship name, fiberglass or scratch build, and who made the ship for easy reference.
