Should We Make the Scuttlebutt a Quarterly Publication?

So the last issue of the Scuttlebutt was scuttled after there were no entries. So far no entries for June either.

What do you guys think of turning it into a quarterly rather than a hex-annually (or whatever you'd call it)? It'd probably make for them to be a bit more beefy when they are released, and wouldn't drain out the few contributors as quickly as every other month publications. Additionally, the winter issues wouldn't be as thin as they have been.

I think quarterly works better. During the non-battling months there often isn't much to report, so it would give you more time in the off months to put something together.

I agree. Try for quarterly. If there is a big event or something special, one can always run an extra edition...

How often does TF144 go out? once or twice a year right? I think quarterly is perfectly good enough. What you need to do Ken is do some more advertising, get the IRC, treaty, or the Big Gun to write you some articles.

TF 144 is 4 times a year. Sometimes a 5th NATS special goes out.

I voted yes. For volunteer organizations that is about the best schedule.
