R/C Naval Combat

Well slap my bottom and call me Shirley! It's that time again, and I'm in need of your submissions! Currently I only have one, a la Kotori, and so I'm looking for more!

Of course the advantage to nobody else submitting, is it'll be a rather light read. [;)]

Klibben, any use for artwork in the Scuttlebutt?

Sure! Try to keep it somewhat related to the topic though, lol... no "amazon woman"... even if that comes up when you google image certain ships... haha. Sorry, I think thats an inside BBS joke... But I'm sure most of you have run into similar things when googling your ships.

There should be some images to go with Carl's article about the campaign game. There are a couple underwater pics and a sequence taken of the Axis flagship going down just before reaching the safety of port at the end of the battle. I think he's doing some final cropping on the sink sequence before putting them online and sending copies to the scuttlebutt.

Later this afternoon. Had to do a rewrite on an article for work and it took the time I was going to use for more important things.

Okedokey! I won't get a chance to start putting it together until Sunday as it looks like right after I get off work tomorrow I'll be driving all over the state for the glorious cause of the combat ships!

Well, I still only have one article.... I'll wait until tomorrow night to finalize it...

I'm actually sailing in about 2 hours, so I'll try to get some pics and a story for you. No promises but.

Just let me know, we can still go to the presses with only one story... it just won't be as much to look at as the past issues! :)

Kinda strange, IMHO, that we had bigger issues during the build season... although I suppose people are too busy battling and repairing (which is good, of course).

Kotori and I have a battle tomorrow, and will also take to opportunity to test a top secret prototype. We may be able to write up a second battle report for you. I'll have a better idea if I can write up a report by Monday. You should also ask the NTXBG for a report about NABGO. Also, didn't MWC and IRCWCC have their Nats recently? There should be plenty to write about.

I can put it off till Monday... if you think you can have it ready. If not, we'll just put it in the next one and send this out today!

I know what you mean about all the Nationals.... but I believe they all publish their own newsletters with the details in them... hence nothing for me!

I actually got a few submissions yesterday, so I guess it's time I get to work! lol.
