HATE HATE HATE Office 2008.

If one isn't going to Linux, you can still buy XP for 2 more years, runs about $99 bucks. Use Open Office and enjoy your computer. Use Vista and hate it :)

Use a Mac, and see the world in a whole new way (a better way, I might add, before you slimey limeys try to say "yeah, a blah blah blah *negativity* way")

Guess what, not much is working at this time. We still have our old machines to continue with the daily work, till they figure out all the bugs. And of course Office 07 is totally different than what everyone is used to also, so added headache.

We have a similar problem. Of course we have faculty members who have not progressed beyond WordPerfect 5.1. (Actually we still have 1 who uses a typewriter).

I won't belabor you with their expectations of OCR software.
