It just struck me funny that most/all the French captains were from Ohio. Must be something in the water...

Shimakaze is on hold for the forseeable future. Please add Graf Spee to my ship list.  And please change my home port from Round Rock, TX to Columbia City, IN.

Well, Phil (AKA Bad Phil, AKA Frendly Fire Phil) and Mikey (more Brit lately it seems) love to run French boats from back in their MBG days. I have seen VHS of those two offering up a fresh helping of "pwnage" in some big gun battles with the Richie' and 'Bart. Also the hull was available for the Mogador. The French loved speed on small ships and concentrated firepower on big ships (facing forward, unlike their army).

I was originally planning to do an HMS Courageous class, but the lack of quality plans combined with my unability to learn how to use DelftShip kind of killed that one. I however think the Charlemagne Class would make a much more interesting ship. Small, well armoured, not too many main guns to arm, and a very unique torpedo arrangement. That, and it would fit inside my car without requiring roof racks.
