can i throw a name out there ?

HMS Furious (1920's)

single 18 inch gun, several 6's  centerline superstructure

and a flying off ramp

besides people will love creating double or tri deckers to launch from her (sarcasm off)

or arm the 8 inch guns of kaga

I think Furious lost her stern 18" gun during WW1.

Glorious in her pre-carrier refit state. 4x 15 inch guns, a ton of torps and mines. sounds cool to me.

Glorious is an interesting one. Furious lacks density of firepower for a ship its size, and will essentially be bait for more heavily-armed ships. Glorious, OTOH, has a pair of twin 1/4" turrets, and oodles of torpedoes, but above-water and submerged. It would be a complex and challenging build, but boy will it be worth it when you scrape sides with another battleship and unload your torpedoes.

In treaty though we don't use mines. I think my original idea was a bit complicated to really be fun. I've been working on some ways to simplify it some, but don't have the details worked out in my mind yet.
