R/C Naval Combat

I talked to Mikey last night. He has a ton of pics from the Ravenna Treaty event. Some good action photos. Thanks to all that tokk pictures. Kevin got some real nice ones I hear. He will be working on getting them posted.

I only took two pics on there before I ran out of space. I really should have checked it before I left the house on Friday. No, I haven't tried to pull them off yet.

Those are some great pictures!. Nice one of the Strasbourg sinking before the Alabama.
It was nice to find the even with the lower muzzle velocity the boats had clean holes.

While looking at you pictures I noticed something about the times. At 7:25:52 the Strasbourg sinks. I went on 5 minutes a full minute before you sank. That would put the time I went on five at 7:24:52 At 7:34:58 my boat is still above water. (please see above picture) That is a full
10 minutes 34 seconds. I will stand and say that the Alabama was NOT SUNK and defeated the Strasbourg and the Invincible in the first over Treaty Combat battle. Look at the times....proof.
At this time the U.S Navy will be accepting the surrender of both the French and British Fleets.

Even if that were the case, as a captain must touch his ship prior to it sinking. Since that didn't happen, regardless of the times, the British were on the winning side, ol' chap! That time that the US Navy is waiting for Her Majesty's Navy to surrender would be far more fitfully used preparing a court-martial for the negligence shown by a modern fast battleship being defeated by a pair of lowly battlecruisers!

Note in the picture above, the Alabama's flag is at half staff, saluting the Invincible as she passes down her side...

Ah yes good Mike, the flag. On the Alabama class that is where the flag was flown while underway. It is not at half staff.
Now, speaking of flag, in the picture above you can see that the Invincible has already surrendered. Please note that the Captain of the Invincible has already taken the British flag down.
As stated earlier. I have your private email and do accept your surrender.

By the way, The Alabama was touched during the 10 or so minutes I talked about earlier. This was done while cleaning moss off her props.

The Invincible wasn't wearing her flag in that battle. Since I was allied with a French ship, I didn't want to hurt the morale of my ally by showing what a "battle ensign" looks like.
