Hello, i am new to this forum. I am new to big gun combat, and do not have any ships yet. I love ships, i love sunken ships, and i love sinking ships, and i love cannons so this is perfect. I will probably not build any ships until i can make succesfull torpedoes too . Anyway, since i am new, i will probably be asking questions around here (what controller should i get? what should go with it? etc.) I am happy to join here and willing to help if i can.

Are you in contact with the big-gun groups down that way?
I think there are two groups down there somewhere. Blacksburg battlegroup, and the Mid-Atlantic battle group.
I think the best advice would be to contact them, and try to hook up with someone that already has a ship, so that you can take a look inside it.
I am not up to snuff on the new radio systems out there today, so will let someone else answer that one.

We are looking at having our planning meeting in Fredericksburg Late April or May.
It had been planned for April 11th but with Easter being the next day, that put an end to that idea.

Keep checking Fleet Deployments on the web site.
I will post the new date when it is firm.

Have you signed up as a member at the MABG web site?

hey Guys, we have been trying to get in contact with you. The Maryland IRC group is planning a "Grand Slam" at their Spring regional and we hope to have some Big Gun ships come and show us how it is done in between our fast gun sorties. See the annoncements in the Maryland Attack Group forum.

hey Ryan,
Take it from someone who know Tom, and the MABG, are great guys, i have the Chance to See that a few times, and have stayed in comtected with them!!! I was living down in VA for 16-years, but my mom got a new job, so we moved back to Pittsburgh!! it would have been nice to stay in VA, at least we had 4-ponds with in 5miles of us!!!

I used to go to Lake Braddock back in the day... (class of 89)

Do students still paint the bear out front?
Battling: SMS Scharnhorst, SMS Baden Building: HMS KGV (Drives, pumps water, guns are in but not plumbed) MN Edgar Quinet (Hull done) Drydock/Mothballed: Rus Evstafi, DKM Lutzow, HMS Invincible Plus 20-odd other projects, according to my Boy Scouts who thoughtfully counted them for me.
