Boomer the term would be Eh not Ay. I figure we would spot an American spy as they woukld be trying to either sell me a used car driven by a little old lady once a week to church or is recruiting more stories for the Jerry Springer show.

Just when you think you know the answers, I change the questions.

actually, my father has one of those cars (actually its a family car, passed down from my great grandma....i hate '87 Chevy Celebrities. Also, we actually steal those stories from oprah, so there's no recruiting, plus, if watch enough, youll see the return of the same people with different names and issues.

My remark was based on a Texan I met in Paris. You could pick him out of the crowd of tourists from a mile away. He turned to me and said, "Y'know what they call me? A barbarian!" I found it both funny and ironic, given France's history as the stereotypical barbarians.

As for stereotypical Canadians (at least the ones I've seen in film) they're either the MacKenzie brothers or French Canadians.

What did Thomas Jefferson say about the French Revolution, something along the lines of, a few hundred heads are a cheap price to pay for democracy?
I just think of the horsemen with the red get ups.

Hey your revolution was no less bloody, or French for that matter. Lafayette, the French fleet, etc, etc. There used to be quite some fraternité between the Americans and the French because of it. Now you guys have "freedom fries". We Canadians and Canadiens (and Canadiennes) have poutine!

Those horsemen with red getups are paramilitary police. To say the least, they're an extremely powerful police force. They even fought during some of our earlier wars, including the Boer War and the First World War. As silly as Mounties may appear to outsiders, many Canadians understand the military nature of the RCMP and keep out of their way.

All this aside, my boat's better than your boat. Just to get us back on track.

I have a couple of points...

Boomer posted "Your a canadian, pretending to be an american spy, pretending to be a british spy, spying on Germans, when in fact your a german-canadian trying to get info on the british."

This is incorrect. He is a Russian born werewolf, working for the British secret service, trying to gain intel on German troop and ship movements in Occupied France. We here in Canada don't use werewolves anymore. But since the cat (or wolf) is out of the bag, it won't work

Second, boomer also posted '"as i am 3/4 french canadian by blood." Does this mean you are building your Graf Spee wih all REAR firing guns???

Just to clarify, your are running Kipper Crap are you not?   That fact alone negates the above statement.

Bah, everyone's German! I might have to sail two ships to counter this. That's going to take a lot more hands than I usually have.

I have two Brit ships with no cash flow to complete them, they are big and ugly.
That which does not kill me, makes me stronger.

Craig, In America, as we are essentially a mixing pot, many people realize themselves in this order: First, American, second, heritage. But that heritage is still a stong part of the country. So, i can be Canadian and american. Now, in reality, as my family has been here for more then 3 generations, i am considered truly American by blood, but we never forget our heritage here.
Bayruun, i dont care how awesome they are, they need new outfits, plus we know you just stay out of their way cuz you dont want to start something with a guy who is in control of a beast that can crush you with its turds. Plus, i will admit, our revolution was bloody, but, besides a few traitor hangings, there was no real executions.
Ok, back to boats, less talk about which country is better, or whatever. My boat would destroy your boat in one on one, bayruun, so dont even try that one on me.

I don't know about that. After all, the Valiant is a *real* battleship. None of this "pocket battleship" stuff. I don't care how many pockets your "battleship" has, it's still a heavy cruiser trying to mix it up with the big ships.

Ok, its a pocket battleship, yes, but, it has triple sterns, will (possibly) outturn your turdsicle and is faster, so, boo yah.

Well, I'd expect a smaller ship to turn faster, and a newer ship to be faster. However, I've got more volume. I may not have triples, but I'm a much fatter ship.

Fine. My boat is bigger and therefore better. Since largeliness is in direct proportion to manliness, that makes me more manly as well! Real men choose battleships!
