A very good kinda tutorial on building a wooden hull can be found in the Warship build section as the stickied Bearn thread. It goes over making full rib templates from the half rib drawings found on most ship plans.

thanks for the info. I read it through a cupple times and learned alot. 

i have 3 more questions befor i start my construction.

what tipe of wood is best for hull construction?

2 what thickness should i be useing for balsa skin? (big gun rules if it matters)

3 due u guys wrap the hull in balsa or install it in between the ribs?
