Hi Folks,

It looks as though I will be moving to Merritt Island Florida within the next year or so. While the move will remove the long distance aspect of my long distance romance, it will also move me away from the Maryland Attack Group and the good friends I have met there. Are there any Fast Gun or Treaty groups in eastern central Florida?

Ron

Yeah I believe the MWCI has a pretty decent sized group in the FL,GA area. You can find contact info for those guys on the MWCI website.

Here is their contact page: http://www.mwci.org/contacts.shtml?FL
Here is their local website: http://www.mwci.org/chapters/SAS/

They are very active in that area.

God bless America, another battler coming to the area!!!

We do indeed have a strong group of battlers in central Florida, one of our two major battling ponds is in Sanford (Orlando area). We up here near Savannah and the fellas from FL typically alternate who hosts the battle for the month.

Are you axis or allied? (I welcome you to Region 3 MWC regardless of your answer lol)

Hi Tugboat,

I have a Des Moines class cruiser and an HMS Invincible under construction. The Des Moines was stripped of guns, electronics and pump before I bought it. The Invincible still doesn't even have shafts yet.

Right now their are about 5, 6, 7, sometimes up to 12 of us in the central FL area. Varies to who can make it all at the same time, MWC fastgun is what we all are.
Its better to give than to receive. Southeast Attack Squadron

The move is now scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I will not miss the monthly trips down I 95 and return 11 days later! I will still have to make several more trips to clean out the house in Maryland, but most likely they won't be until Spring. The Inflexible has already made the trip down, but all the parts are up here as is the DesMoines. I hope to bring down most of the parts on my September trip

Glad to hear it! Looking forward to seeing you on the water. If you get settled in time, we have an Orlando battle scheduled November 20-21, should be nice and close to you.

Hey, Ron;

Drop by the MAG workshop at least one more time before you go south!
