 | | 07 Sep 2011 01:53 PM | | Mine arrived yesterday. I got home at 7:00PM, ate dinner, and Henri was assembled on the desk by 7:45. An outstanding kit, very well thought out and went together with only a flat file for a little chasing of spots here and there. Fair warning to people contemplating building Henri: It has less vertical clearance than Othar (1/2 unit DD), apart from the forward end. I think it will be a challenge to build, and if I can pull it off, it'll look awesome Even if it never sees a Nats (as the rules stand now), it'll be fun at regional battles. The plan is a gun in each main turret, one of which will be a 75-round gun, with a full unit pump. | | | Battling: SMS Scharnhorst, SMS Baden
Building: HMS KGV (Drives, pumps water, guns are in but not plumbed)
MN Edgar Quinet (Hull done)
Drydock/Mothballed: Rus Evstafi, DKM Lutzow, HMS Invincible
Plus 20-odd other projects, according to my Boy Scouts who thoughtfully counted them for me. | |
