What are some general impressions of the Lion Class Battlecruiser, especially in big gun combat?

We have on in our club. But never in a BIG fight. The last time she had sailed, she did a fantastic job of protecting the convoy. She was filled with holes, and sank after the convoy made it back to port without a single hole!

There is one in the WWCC, my local Big Gun club. It hasn't been a great performer. Its 7/32" guns aren't great, it's got middle-weight armor, and WWII battleships can outrun it. The Q turret (amidships) takes up a disproportionate amount of space in the middle of the ship, where you'd normally put batteries or a CO2 bottle, so getting everything to fit can be a major pain. Unless you've already built a boat or two, I wouldn't recommend it.
