Just curious here as always...

I can see being able to put them in a scratch build but one a fiberglass hull how does one do it?  Just epoxy them on?  Pin from back side and epoxy?  Put a slice in the hull insert and epoxy?  Those are the only ways that I can think of off the top of my head.

Screw them on from the inside, with epoxy.
Still a proud member of the AUSBG!

I've seen several that use the 'cut long slice in side of hull, insert 1/8" aluminum, epoxy, and trim' method... nice and solid.

All I ever did was tack them in postion with CA thick. Then seal with resin and a little cloth. Body putty over it to give it a smooth finish and sand, resin over it and paint it. Never ever have one break off or peel off.
