WOW!! My local Clippard Dealer has no problem selling me individuale items at great prices. I've never had any problems working with him. I told him what we do in the hobby and he thought it was neat.
I did notice a tatoo on his arm of an anchor. Maybe he's an old navy guy?

Powder Monkey, just do what I did. Get the listing and start calling their offices. If they give you a salesperson that doesnt answer your calls then ask for someone else, if you strike out again, call the next distributor. This is what I had to do. I must say though I had to get a lot of prices while I was deciding what to buy, as I am a newbie and didnt know what I wanted, so he started to get a little tired of pricing the myriad of parts, but it all worked out in the end. Granted I havent made a second order yet.......

My local clippard distributor has always been friendly and easy to deal with. They have sold me individual pieces in the past, and ordered parts for me when they were out of stock. Try giving them a call and see what they say. Here's their website:
