So i have been juggleing life around and have started checking up on this forum again. I was wondering if any events were coming up relatively close to VA that It would be possible I could check out. I was going to ask Knight, but it says he has not been on since october, and i am getting itchy to be able to watch a battle for the first time, so i wanted to know about anything that would be possible.

There will be battles in Hagerstown, Md. (IRCWCC), and Red Lion, Pa.(Treaty) in the spring. Not sure how close to you those are.
I am hoping that the Red Lion event will be multi-format, with the big-gun clubs invited. We are still workig on a schedule.

Maker Faire in North Carolina. This is an all day event on Sunday April 25, 2010.

The MABG will be setting the table up at 8:00 am and doors open to the public at 9:00. The event ends at 9:00 PM.

The event will be held at Loehmann's Plaza in Durham, North Carolina. The address of the plaza is 1821 Hillandale Rd, Durham NC 27705. The Maker Faire site has a great directions page.

The Mid-Atlantic Battle Group lists upcoming events on their home page: http://mabg.org

Knight is correct though - the Maker Faire is the next event we have scheduled.

Well crap. I have a States competition for my after school group that weekend, and we will be stayin in a hotel all weekend at it. >
if you want to know what its for, Its for TSA, Technological students accociation. I am going to do an event in which we use an rc robot made from vex
to pick up letters and move them? I will have to fully review the ruleset. well, I was looking at the other competition in april, for Irwcc? (probably misspelled). Sorry knight, I failed once more.

It is by failure that we learn and grow.

Don't worry, soon it will be summer and we will most likely plan to have an event once a month through the summer.
