I found the black text on white background easier to read. Its not to say that it has to be white background, any light colour will do. Can DotNetNuke have multiple themes which can be selected by users (like PHPNuke)? That would allow those of us who liked something like the old theme, and those who like this theme to choose what they like in their profile settings.

Again, I'm not against changing it to something else... but I'm tired of looking. We have a choice; one of you can find us a good freebie, someone can learn and make us one, or we can all get together and buy one... They cost around $80-100. What do you want to do?

I can't remember off hand its been a while. I believe it was in a user's profile settings where you could select an option for site theme. I really like this blue/white theme, its nice and light on the eyes, and more suited to our hobby. Maybe you should host a contest to design an RCNC logo for the top?

Yeah, I did exactly what I said I was absolutely not going to do. I took all day and learned to build a theme. ;(

You did a spectacular job justin. Well done. A good compromise from the dark and edgy (which i liked) to those that wanted the white.

This is a good theme too, though I was partial to the dark one. I found it easier to read.

Still this looks very nice.

I like this theme better than the one from earlier today as well. I'm glad to see not all of it is the heavy serif font that's used for the usernames, as that can be hard to read for long passages. Only other comment might be to make the message font a tad darker -- I'm fine with it, but wondering if it's too light for some with eyes not quite as good?

My one suggestion is to add some separation between the Unanswered Not Read My Topics Active Topics links, and maybe even make them look like buttons. They're run a bit close together, and for the longest time I didn't realize even notice them.

And now I'll run away quickly before you come after me screaming about my comments on little details rather than thanking you for all of your work in getting the board running again, not giving up, and designing a great-looking theme.

Nothing is quite done yet. I'm more interested in making sure everything is backing up correctly and why one (required) service keep shutting off unexpectedly.. which is what happened tonight.

OK, give that a try... we'll see if it goes down again.

Meh, sometimes change just doesn't do anything for me. I still miss the original site theme, with ship plans and steel grey. It'll probably take a bit of time before this new one feels natural to me again.

Love the look of the site so far.
