OK everyone, I'm going to start taking donations for the RCNC store.  The total I'm trying to raise is $130.

You CAN use this to sell the single old pump you have sitting in your garage.

What that will give us one unified store front that users can come to buy from any other member.  It has a full checkout system, with 'shopping cart' so our users can purchase directly online with their credit cards or through paypal.

From the seller's stand point, every seller gets their own 'store' with their own products.  Your products will be combined with the products from everyother seller and will make up the unified store.  You have access to change / update only your products.

Highlights:

Internal inventory system:  Let's say for example, you can only make a certain quantity of a product per month.  You specify how many you have, and the store will only sell that amount.  This could also be helpful for 'used items'... say you have 1 old pump that you want to get rid of; just set the quantity to 1 & once its sold... its sold!

Everyone has their own products: You list / update your own products; you cannot change Tuggy's & Tuggy can't change yours. (unless you ARE Tuggy)

Unlimited Customizable Products: Charge what you want for as many products as you want, in as many categories as you want.

Product Details:  Write a little, write a lot, include as many photos as you want.  Your job is to sell your item!

Product Categories: Every major online store has their products listed in different categories for so people can easily shop.

Product Searches: Your can search for "Tirpitz", and get all products related to your new Tirpitz.  Maybe even a few Bismarck pieces too!

Digital Sales:  Let's say you make & sell high quality plans... and want to sell them digitally, meaning "click, buy, download".  The store has you covered.

Local Tax: Let's say you sell enough that you have to figure tax into the whole thing.  Well, it is handled for you!  (Yes, even Canadian Tax)

User Feedback:  Users can rate, rank, and comment on your products... user opinions can help make or break a sale, especially with two similar products.

Configurable Products:  Let's say you sell a product that can be configured several ways... for example, a cannon might be sold with tight tolerance steel or brass barrels.  BUT, the steel ones might cost more...  so you list the cannons with two different configuration options & therefore different prices.

Package Deals:  Customers that bought a tirpitz hull might want a tirpitz main deck too.  So cut them a package deal to get the whole thing today!

Tickets:  You can sell tickets to NABGO or NATS or maybe just the comedy club!

Recurring Payments:  You could even list your club's membership!

Globalization / Currency Converter:  We are a global hobby, right?

Shipping Calculator: Real time rate calculation and tracking with UPS, USPS, Fedex, DHL, Airborne, and Canada Post

And much more...  Litterally, the list of features is 9 pages long, and the host's (me) manual is like 60 pages.  It'll take me a week just to learn how to use the thing.

I'll try to have a free (but non-functional) demo up and running in the next couple days.  But I think its clear this is the store module that we want to use.  It does just about everything I can think we'd need.

So, if you want to start selling things... whether it be a large quantity of products, or just what you have lying around in the garage... please donate via Paypal to Justin [at] Scott [dot] org.

Cheers,
jks

It's all good, but we really do need donations to make it happen.

Edit: Thank you Monk and Herr Bauers...  If you order anything from me, some other ranodm goodies might fall into the box

If you act now RCNC will throw in some in an autographed air guitar. This offer lasts for the next 20 minutes as we can not do this all day.

Just when you think you know the answers, I change the questions.
