Ok, I ordered both of those and it is working much better but with a NEW problem.

The battery does power the motor and it works fine. However, the transmitter doesn't always seem to be in control. Sometimes I will throttle up and then go down but the motor just doesn't leave the throttle up and I have to unplug it. Other times it just has a huge several second delay or sees half throttle as full.
