If your ship has weight and space for accumulators, I'd put them in. | | | Battling: SMS Scharnhorst, SMS Baden
Building: HMS KGV (Drives, pumps water, guns are in but not plumbed)
MN Edgar Quinet (Hull done)
Drydock/Mothballed: Rus Evstafi, DKM Lutzow, HMS Invincible
Plus 20-odd other projects, according to my Boy Scouts who thoughtfully counted them for me.

Put your accumaltors on the dual sterns ( they are small reserve tanks) back by your guns, You dont really need to use one on the bow gun if you use 1/8 line to it, this will act as a tank for you! In doing this it saves you some weight. The way you are setting it up and if you learn to work your ship you will deffiently make belivers out of these guys! One peice of advise is go to your local pond and drive your ship over and over so that you know every little trick it does and trick it down so you get it to operate and turns and works the way you want it to. It wont be perfect right out of the hole it takes a litte work to get the kenks out. My last battle with my cruiser in Perry Georgia at MWC Nats I pulled some tricks that fouled up some battlecruisers minds!

Now I am not proficient at the rules but what if you had rotating stern guns. It seems like Cpt's spend tons of time positioning their ship just to miss the opportunity to lay three BB's into an opposing ship. Just a thought.

A 15 deg. bow gun with down angle means you are going to try to sidemount duel a BB. Both of these result in pain for you. Triple sterns mean pain for anyone you shoot at. Just wait for them to get distracted and you can hide behind your stern. If they come to kill you, put her in gear.

| | 07 Jul 2008 07:34 PM | | For the bow gun it all depends on how you use it I use it as a chaser for other cruisers and if a B is engaged else where I can swipe it with the bow as I swing my stern around than turn and burn while hitting it with the dual sterns [^] | | IRCWCC Fast Guns New England Task Force, http://netfrc.com USS Massachusetts BB 59 South Dakota Class Battleship Awards

| | 07 Jul 2008 07:44 PM | | Brown triple sterns are nice they do a ton of damage and are probably the way to go. Me I’m jus t a little aggressive in nature and needed that avenue to chase if need be and not be backing up like a dog in heat all day long to get off …a shot [;)] | | IRCWCC Fast Guns New England Task Force, http://netfrc.com USS Massachusetts BB 59 South Dakota Class Battleship Awards

| | 11 Jul 2008 07:30 PM | | I still have a half unit pump which in a cruiser is the same as a full unit pump. 75 +75= 3units =.5 unit pump for 3.5 units quote: Originally posted by BoomerBoy17
