Hey Mikey I sent yo a PM about the Kirishima
Hey Mikey,
Is the Kirishima a treaty ship? If so what is the difference between Treaty and MWCI? Also what brand of radio. And could you send pics and just for kicks maybe a pick or 2 of the Icebreaker.
Thanks, Skippy

Got a little running to do now, but I will try to post some photos, and answer your questions shortly.
But there are some photos of the Kirishima on page 17 of the Treaty shipyards thread, in the photos area.

The Alabama was built as a fast-gun boat originally. In Treaty it just went slower, and pumped less water.
The hull, and superstructure would not change between the two formats.

The Tirpitz was built for Treaty. But he is also legal for fast-gun.
If anything might be changed for fast-gun, it might be to re-do the shafts.
In Treaty, they need to be in the scale location.
And one might want to run the large motor on the center shaft in fast-gun.

The Kirishima was built for Treaty.
Again the shafts are in the scale location.
But in Treaty, the casements are allowed to be hard.
Dustin finished the boat knowing that at some point, it might be re-fitted for fast-gun,
so he sheeted the casements with plastic or something, and it appears that stripping
that part off for a fast-gun conversion would be an easy process.
Beyond that. In Treaty, the ships are slower, and pump less. So as the motors in this boat are
12 volt 550 cans, a fast-gunner might want to change them out for the standard 6 volt versions.
Beyond that, I can not think of anything that would change.
Windows are the same for both formats.

The Wind class icebreaker.
This one is spoken for. But I think Ralph said that he had another one on-hand when I last spoke with him.
The Terrible is not for sale. I just stuck it in the photo for a size comparison.

I was just wondering what the Ice Breaker hull looked like, Thanks for posting it. Also not to sound like a dumb a$$, but for the " photos of the Kirishima on page 17 of the Treaty shipyards thread, in the photos area" having trouble finding page 17, only goes to 11, if I am in the right area. Any extra help would be great.
Thanks

No problem.
Click on the Treaty shipyards (which will be at the top of the page), but click on page 21, which is just to the right of the Treaty shipyards thread name.
Then at the top (or bottom) of that page there is a slider tab that will have perhaps 16-21.
