All

Ralph is asking if there is any interest in some fiberglass pre-dreadnaught hulls.

If you have an interest in any particular pre-dreadnaught, please let us know.

Also let us know if you would be willing to pre-pay for any of them in particular,

as this will probably be instrumental in determining which hulls do get made.

Thanks.

Mikey

Borodino. Gotta have the Borodino. I've even made a DELFTship model of it, if that helps.

I would also like to see a Deutschland class. However I would most likely pre-pay for a Satsuma if the price wasn't too unreasonable.

Coincidentally, the next class is scratchbuilding a Deutschland! That's just the hull, so it won't be dragged out like Eddie Q.

Personally, I'd like to see USS Virginia BB-13... you gotta love the superfiring turrets! For most Fast Gun rulesets you'd have to mount the BB cannons in the lower level of the turrets (main guns), but it'd look so cool!!! (You guys should know by now that I don't pick ships for tactical advantage )

If Ralph does Deutschland, I'll do the class on Virginia.  But my cardboard-framed Deutschland is 2/3 sheeted and almost ready for glassing

Battling: SMS Scharnhorst, SMS Baden Building: HMS KGV (Drives, pumps water, guns are in but not plumbed) MN Edgar Quinet (Hull done) Drydock/Mothballed: Rus Evstafi, DKM Lutzow, HMS Invincible Plus 20-odd other projects, according to my Boy Scouts who thoughtfully counted them for me.

Here' s a list of Pre-Dreadnoughts you could choose from for the following Countries. With some mods to the rules to allow these ships a sidemount  or 2 they should be fun and competitive to use. The Micro Technololgy today is making it more possible to out fit these ships much better.

Austria-Hungary: Radetzky

Chile: - Capitan Prat

France: - Danton

Germany: -  Kaiser - Deutschland

Japan - Fuji - Mikasa - Kashima - Satsuma

Russia - Petropavlovsk - Peresviet

United Kingdom - Majestic - King Edward VII - Lord Nelson -

United States of America -  Texas - Maine - Virginia - Mississippi

A good round of choices here and all very interesting ships to build.

MWC now allows 1 sidemount in Pre-dreds that have over a 72 ft beam. Frank has battled it the last 2 battles here in Florida, it runs well, and is a great turner with the dual rudders. Mine still need the internals installed. Just seem to have a lack of time, and will lately to get much done.
Its better to give than to receive. Southeast Attack Squadron

I'm pretty sure all the fast gun formats allow a single sidemount on Pre-dreads. MWC and Treaty passed the rule last year. IRCWCC passed it this year.

Is that Maine the BB-10 or the one that blew itself up?

I would like to add the USS Connecticut.

A vote for any of the Royal Navy Predreads.

Also for the Italian Regina Elena class.

More armored cruisers would be sweet too.

Sorry about that Tugs. The reference book I used didn't mention that ship.

With all these suggestions, maybe see if he wants to trim the list to 3 or 4 and have a vote?

Tug's Poll is
1. USS Georgia
2. USS Virginia
3. USS Nebraska
4. Evstafy

Really, of all the ships listed in this thread I would probably pay for any of them.
